Royal Order of Scotland

The Royal Order of Scotland draws its membership exclusively from within Freemasonry and strictly by invitation. To be considered for membership of the Royal Order of Scotland you must be recommended by two members of the Order who will have assessed your suitability to join before inviting you to apply.

The Royal Order comprises two Degrees, that of Heredom of Kilwinning and that of the Rosy Cross. Tradition tells us that the former was established in Judea, in Palestine, but whether at the time of the Crusaders of much earlier origin, tradition is silent.
